If playful, modular, jewellery made of fine pewter, glass and pvc is your style, Ann-Marie’s fashion-forward designs are for you. A graduate of Fine Arts at the University of Quebec at Montreal, her jewellery reflects her style – eccentric, aesthetic, intriguing and seductive.
“As a child, I recycled my mom’s jewels, making new ones by welding them with my dad’s tools. Today the materials have changed but the passion has remained intact, whole and bold.”
Unique, sculptural jewellery – each piece is meticulously hand-made, often demonstrating asymmetric equilibrium. Imperfect lines indeed – but perfectly imperfect.

From her Thamesford, Ontario studio, award-winning Danielle O’Connor creates one-of-a-kind pieces of jewellery.
While studying at Georgian College in Barrie, Danielle was one of only 10 winners world-wide in the Young Designers Competition by Mikimoto Pearl Company. Her winning design was taken to the Bezel Fair in Europe.
Since graduating in 2001, Danielle has been busy creating her distinctive jewellery. Take, for instance, her fun bracelets made from old pieces of silverware. Each piece has its own distinct design with a carefully selected ornate handle and colourful beads. Her necklaces, earring and bracelets feature bold stones, clusters of semi-precious stones, pearls, all artistically styled on silver chains.
When Danielle is not designing, manufacturing and distributing her jewellery, she’s teaching at the local Creative Arts Centre and at galleries. Ah, the energy of youth.

Located in Queen West – the heart of Toronto’s vibrant arts community – Liz Kain’s studio was established in 1994. Launching her company by featuring her signature Shakespearean collection – silver jewellery featuring famous Shakespearean quotes – Liz now has an extensive collection of sterling silver or silver and gold pieces, often with the addition of gemstones.
Drawing from a background in graphic design, Liz Kain’s jewellery is sculptural, whimsical, and visually engaging. |
White Lotus designer, Edina Racz, says she tries to create jewellery that is edgy but still pretty and timeless. Her background in design and fine art combined with her love of colour and nature are reflected in her work. Edina gets inspired by the jewels and materials and then works on the design – somewhat like a sculptor working in stone or wood – the raw materials inspire and dictate the final design.
Working from her bright and airy studio in Toronto, Edina creates her jewellery using classic sterling silver, semi-precious gemstones and other rare stones from around the world. Some of her favourite stones to work with are Tourmaline, Peridot, Yellow Jade, Turquoise and Amazonite – all beautifully crafted with sterling silver. Some of Edina’s stones are wire woven into pendants, earrings, and bracelets; others feature flora and fauna designs; or sleek and geometric designs incorporating gemstones and sterling silver.
Whether your style is light and feminine or contemporary and chic, each piece of White Lotus Design jewellery is individually crafted keeping colour, balance, structure and beauty in mind.
Exotic, unique, one-of-a-kind pieces – Edina’s collection is constantly changing.
